"Kathy Dunn...is able to provide the kind of atmosphere that produces much and varied writing from the students....  That Kathy has gained the complete trust of the students in this class in just a few short months is nothing short of miraculous.  We all know that students won't write if they don't feel like it, and they especially won't produce strong writing unless they feel safe.  Kathy has created that safe environment."
-- Inge Ackerman, [Former] Department Chair,
Amherst Regional High School

Student Comments:

I am very glad I took this course and feel much better about my writing, but above all I enjoy writing...

I can write the things that I want to write.

[I liked] the way we all got to know each other through our writing. And the way you find yourself through your writing.

It was a great class.  I'm glad I was in it.
